Home Stairlift is the result of many years of hard work in home mobility services from our co-founders Gord Molnar and Peter Shaw. With their knowledge and experience in the home mobility and health care industry they realized many years ago that there was no option for people to rent a stairlift instead of buying one. All the companies offering stairlift equipment focussed on sales of stairlifts, with no short term options. Most stairlift providers sold a wide variety of other products and did not focus on stairlifts. This impacts the quality of service they can provide.
Gord and Peter began their business only providing rentals to customers. That service expanded to provide the option to purchase or rent and to purchase either new or pre-owned stairflifts. Serving the Greater Golden Horseshoe: Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Niagara, St. Catharines, Brantford, Kitchener, Waterloo, Woodstock, Guelph, Barrie, Port Perry, Bowmanville and all areas in between.
The driving desire is still to provide customers the right options for their needs with the highest quality equipment to ensure safety and peace of mind for customers. Home Stairlift has partnered with top manufacturers in Europe to create the Platinum Stairlift line and is the exclusive dealer for the Horizon Straight Starlift and the Ultimate Stairlift System.
